Riguardo a quest'opera

The black frame matters first; it tells the bedroom you're serious. Everything else here is soft — brushed greys, a warm cream ground, one stem leaning out of the corner — so the hard edge is what makes it read as art rather than decoration. Hung up, the room gets quieter. Busy shelves and patterned bedding suddenly look calmer next to that much empty space. It works above a low chest of drawers, on a narrow hallway wall, or beside a desk where you look up often. Pair it with pale wood, linen, stoneware and chalky off-white paint. Don't crowd it with bold colour or heavy pattern on the same wall — this one needs breathing room to do its job. As a canvas the matt surface softens the ink wash and gives it a more painterly, hand-done look.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this look too plain on a large empty wall?

On a wide wall a medium size can drift. Two options work: size up so the blossom reads from across the room, or hang it with one or two other quiet ink pieces spaced closely. If you keep it solo, hang it off-centre with furniture beneath so the piece has something to sit against.

Does the background read as cream or as white?

It reads as a warm cream, closer to oat than bright white. That means it sits happily on off-white, stone and plaster walls, and warms up next to pale wood. Against a very cool bright white wall the difference is noticeable, so allow a little contrast rather than expecting a seamless match.

Is the red mark in the corner part of the artwork?

Yes. The small red stamp in the lower left is a seal mark, a traditional part of ink brush painting. It is the only spot of colour in the piece, so it gives the eye somewhere to land. Some people pick it up with one small red or terracotta object nearby.
