How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this look too washed out on a cream or off-white wall?
No — the deep red dot and the sky-blue shape give it enough definition to read clearly against cream and off-white walls. If your wall is very pale and you want a little more separation, a slim oak or black frame will sharpen the edge without making it feel heavy.
Is the deep red strong enough to clash with warm reds or oranges in the room?
The red is a single small note rather than a dominant colour, so it sits politely next to terracotta, rust cushions or warm timber. If your room is already heavy on warm reds, the rest of the palette — cream, mustard and soft blue — keeps the piece feeling balanced rather than competing.
Does it need to be hung large, or will a medium size work above a console?
Medium works above a console or narrow sideboard, especially if you layer a vase or lamp in front. For above a sofa or bed, size up — the shapes are loose and benefit from room to breathe, and a larger format gives the red dot and blue shape proper weight.
