How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
How big does the type read on the wall?
Le Vélo sits across the top in chunky deep-blue serif and is easy to read from across a room, even at the smaller sizes. At medium and large, it carries the wall on its own and becomes the main thing your eye lands on when you walk in.
Will the mustard yellow clash with warm wood floors?
It pairs really well with oak, pale wood and warm tile — the mustard sits in the same warm family rather than fighting it. Where it can clash is with strong red-brown woods like mahogany or against orange-toned brick, so test against your wall first if that's your setting.
Does the bicycle have any branding or text on the frame?
No. The bike is shown as a loose graphic illustration with no logos, brand marks or numbers on the frame. The only text on the print is Le Vélo across the top, so it reads as a stylised French poster rather than a specific bike model.
