How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the mustard background feel too strong in a small bedroom?
It reads as a warm, sunny tone rather than a bright primary yellow, so it tends to add warmth rather than dominate. Hang it above a bed or low console with cream, beige or terracotta nearby and it settles into the room. If your walls and bedding are already cool blue-grey, the contrast will be sharper.
Does this work with cool grey or very modern interiors?
It works best in warm, boho or organic-modern rooms with cream walls, pale timber and natural textures. In a cool grey scheme it will feel like a strong warm note, which can be a deliberate accent, but it won't blend quietly. Pair with at least one warm material nearby — a rattan chair, a linen throw or a terracotta pot — to help it sit.
How big should I go above a standard double bed?
A medium portrait size usually sits best above a standard double or king headboard, leaving a calm border of wall on either side. If your headboard is low or you have no headboard, you can size up slightly so the print reads as the main focal point. Keep the bottom of the frame around 15–20 cm above the headboard.
