Apri la porta della camera e la parete dietro al letto si fa silenziosa: è questo l’effetto. Il grigio‑verde tenue corre basso sopra la testiera come un secondo orizzonte, e lo spazio sembra più ampio di quanto misuri. Nessuno nota subito la barca: si accorge piuttosto che ha smesso di parlare. Mantieni il letto in lino lavato, bianco o avena, e lascia che il verde profondo degli alberi sia l’elemento più scuro della stanza. Una parete in rosa intonaco funziona meglio del previsto, e il bianco caldo fa esattamente ciò che deve. Appendi il poster una mano più in basso dell’istinto, così la linea dell’acqua incontra la sommità dei cuscini. Una lampada per lato, e niente sul comodino che richiami un blu in competizione. Su carta fine‑art la foschia conserva la sua morbidezza, e una cornice in rovere chiaro definisce con eleganza i bordi.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Il grigio-verde sembrerà freddo in una camera da letto esposta a nord?

Meno di quanto pensi. La foschia nel cielo è un greige caldo più che un grigio-blu, quindi con luce diurna piatta appare morbida invece che gelida. Quanto larga dovrebbe essere la stampa sopra un letto king size?

Punta a 120-140 cm di larghezza. Una testiera king è larga circa 180 cm, e l’immagine dovrebbe coprirne due terzi o tre quarti, così l’orizzonte si legge davvero come orizzonte e le barche restano leggibili dalla porta. Appendi il bordo inferiore a circa 15 cm sopra la testiera. Sotto i 100 cm sembra quasi sospesa, e perde quell’effetto di calma.

Funziona in una sala da pranzo con pareti verde scuro?

Sì, ed è una delle stanze migliori per questo soggetto. Le pareti verde scuro riprendono gli alberi lungo la riva, e l’acqua chiara diventa la cosa più luminosa della stanza, quindi lo sguardo va lì per primo. Illuminata in basso la sera, invece che con una lampada da quadro, la foschia resta intatta. Tieni la tavola semplice e lascia che sia la parete a dare colore.
