How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the coral pink overwhelm a small room?
It's a confident colour, but the deep blue curtain and black dog ground it, so the pink doesn't take over. In a small room, hang it at eye-level on the longest wall and keep nearby furniture in warm wood or natural fibres. If your walls are already a strong colour, it's better in a calmer neutral room.
Does the dog read clearly from across the room?
Yes — the dog is the darkest, simplest shape in the picture, so it pulls the eye first even from a distance. The pink wall and yellow window frame sit around it as a setting. At larger sizes the looser brushwork and rug pattern also come through, which is worth knowing if you're hanging it in a roomy space.
Is this better above a sofa or in a hallway?
Either works, but it slightly prefers a hallway, console or sideboard where it's the first thing you see. Above a sofa it can fight with cushions and throws if the upholstery is patterned. If you do hang it above a sofa, keep the sofa plain — solid linen, oat, deep green or warm grey.
