How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the French handwriting read as text or more as a decorative loop?
Both. Up close you can pick out the words — coeur d'amour, navré, verve — but from across a room it reads as a soft blue loop framing the heart. Most rooms see it as pattern first, language second, which is part of why it sits comfortably without dominating.
Will the red feel too strong in a small or pale room?
Probably not. The heart is one concentrated shape on a large white ground, so the red reads as a single accent rather than a wash of colour. In small pale rooms it tends to warm the space rather than crowd it. Avoid pairing with other bold reds nearby.
Is this better above a bed or over a console?
Both work. Above a bed it reads tender and a little romantic, especially with linen bedding. Above a console or entryway table it greets you on the way in and lifts an otherwise quiet wall. Avoid hanging it above very busy furniture — the print prefers a calm base.
