Riguardo a quest'opera

Esalta dettagli, tonalità e texture in modo straordinario.

Finitura opaca

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

What size works best for this star chart?

A medium size is the sweet spot. The constellation names, Greek letters and star labels are finely engraved, and at medium scale they stay readable from a desk chair or bedside. Go larger only if it will hang on its own as the main piece in a study, and keep it at eye level so the lettering can still be read.

Which constellations does it show?

Draco, the dragon, winds through the centre in long loops, and Ursa Minor, the Little Bear, sits inside its coils with Polaris, the Pole Star, at the end of its tail. Neighbouring constellations are named around the edges, including Hercules, Lyra, Cygnus, Cepheus, Camelopardalis and Ursa Major, so you get a slice of the northern sky.

What colours does it go with in a room?

The ground is a soft off-white with beige shading, the dragon is muted sage and grey-green, and the only strong colour is the red tongue. It looks at home against deep green, navy or warm white walls, with dark wood furniture and brass. That small red accent picks up rust or oxblood in cushions, rugs or book spines.
