How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft grey-green background look washed out on a white wall?
It reads warmer than it looks on screen. Against a chalky off-white or warm white wall, the background holds its own and the butterfly and pale flowers come forward. On a bright cool-white wall it can look more muted, so an oak or warm-toned frame helps lift it.
Is this a single butterfly print or does it work as part of a set?
It works both ways. Hung on its own above a bed or console it's a clear focal point. In a small gallery wall it sits as the largest, central piece with smaller botanical or insect studies in similar muted tones either side.
Does the print include the 'Fauna & Flora / Artful Nature' text and the signature at the bottom?
Yes — the exhibition-style typography at the top and the signature wordmark with 'Classic' and 'Textiles' at the bottom are part of the design. It's intended to read as a vintage exhibition poster rather than a plain botanical study.
