How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the cat painted in detail or more of a cartoon style?
It's a watercolour painting with proper detail in the fur, whiskers and eyes — not a flat cartoon. The clothing is loosely painted, but the cat's face is realistic enough to hold a grown-up room as well as a kid's.
Will the soft pink background look too feminine for a boy's room or a hallway?
The pink is dusty and warm rather than bubblegum, and the cowboy gear and warm browns carry most of the weight. It reads as a soft warm backdrop rather than a strong pink, and works in a mixed room.
Does the cat make eye contact with the viewer?
Yes — the cat looks straight ahead, so it will engage anyone walking past. That's why it works best on a wall you use every day, and less well tucked away in a quiet corner where the gaze gets wasted.
