How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the cream background look white against a white wall?
The background is a soft warm cream rather than pure white, so it reads slightly warmer than a bright white wall and gives the blue line a clear edge. Against a cool brilliant white, the cream feels a touch creamier; against a soft off-white, the two tones sit comfortably together.
Is it big enough to hang above a kitchen counter on its own?
A medium size works as a single piece above a coffee station, kettle or small stretch of counter. If your wall is wider than around a metre, consider sizing up or pairing it with one more small line-drawn print to keep the proportions balanced.
Will the red mug clash with my kitchen if I don't have any red?
The red is a small accent rather than a dominant colour, so it tends to read as a friendly pop rather than a clash. It sits happily next to white, cream, pale wood, soft grey and pale blue cabinetry. Add a red tea towel or mug nearby to tie it in if you want.
