How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink read as too girly for a kids' room?
The pink here is dusty and warm rather than bright candy pink, and it's balanced by sage green shorts, warm brown fur and a deep navy outline on the wheels. In a room with pale wood, cream linen and a little sage or oat, it reads as warm and gentle rather than overtly girly, and it works well past the baby stage.
What size should I order for above a cot or changing table?
A medium portrait is the sweet spot above a standard cot or changing table — large enough to anchor the wall without overwhelming a small nursery. Hang it lower than you would in an adult room, around eye-level for someone sitting in a feeding chair, so a small child can see the bear from the cot.
Does it work on its own or do I need a pair?
It works happily on its own as a single feature above a cot, dresser or reading chair. If you want a small grouping, pair it with one or two quieter pieces — a simple botanical, a soft animal portrait or a hand-drawn alphabet — in matching frames. Avoid bright graphic prints, which will fight the soft palette.
