How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the yellow on the daffodils bright or muted?
It's a clear, sunny yellow — the brightest thing in the picture by some distance. The rest of the palette is warm browns and soft cream, so the daffodils really do the lifting. If your room leans neutral or sage, that single hit of yellow will read as a warm accent rather than anything loud.
Will this feel too childish for a sitting room or hallway?
It's painted straight — no cartoon eyes, no winking — so it reads as a character portrait more than a kids' print. In a hallway or country kitchen it lands as gentle British humour. In a slick modern living room it can feel out of place, which is why we steer it toward country and family rooms.
Does the grey background look cold on a warm wall?
The grey is soft and slightly warm, sitting closer to a putty tone than a steel grey. It holds up well against cream, sage, off-white and warm-painted walls. On a cool blue-grey wall it can flatten a little, so we'd pair it with a warmer wall colour where possible.
