How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the colours be too loud for a small room?
It is a saturated, high-contrast piece, so it does take over a small wall — which is often the point. In a compact living room or study it works as the single hero piece on a quiet warm-white wall. Keep nearby cushions, books and ceramics in one or two of its tones rather than adding more bold pattern.
What size should I go for above a sofa or sideboard?
A medium portrait sits beautifully above a standard sofa or low sideboard, reading as a confident hero piece without crowding the wall. If your sofa is over two metres wide, size up to large so the print holds its own. For a desk or console under one metre wide, stay with medium.
Does it work in a child's room or playroom?
Yes — the bright, painterly blocks feel joyful rather than babyish, so it suits older kids' rooms, playrooms and creative family corners. Pair it with simple white or pale oak furniture and one bright textile pulled from the print, and keep the rest of the room calm so the artwork stays the focal point.
