How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will it look too busy in a small kitchen or hallway?
It is a detailed scene, so give it clear wall on both sides and keep the surface below it tidy. In a small kitchen or hallway that usually works better than a big open wall, because you view it close up and the detail becomes part of the interest rather than noise across the room.
Do I need coloured walls to make it work?
No, plain white or off-white is the easiest backdrop and the one this suits best. If you do have colour, a soft green, warm cream or pale blue wall sits comfortably behind it. Avoid hanging it on a deep red or strong terracotta wall, as the soft pinks in the scene lose their punch.
How do I pick up the colours in the rest of the room?
Choose two, not five. A deep blue jug, cushion or vase and something in soft pink or terracotta is enough to tie the room together. Keep larger items plain — pale wood, rattan, off-white cabinetry — so the artwork stays the brightest thing in the room.
