How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright colours overwhelm a small room?
The off-white snow takes up most of the print, so the bright reds, blues and yellows read as accents rather than a wall of colour. In a small room, hang it solo on a calm wall and keep nearby furnishings simple — it lifts the space rather than crowding it.
Is this suitable for a child's bedroom?
Yes — the loose, painterly figures and cheerful colours suit kids' rooms well, and there's nothing graphic or scary in the scene. It works above a low bed or a reading nook, and grows with the child rather than feeling babyish.
Does it read as a ski scene from across the room?
Yes. The figures, poles and skis are clear enough to read as skiing on a snowy slope from a normal viewing distance. Up close it becomes more abstract and painterly, which is part of the charm — both readings work.
