La cornice definisce il carattere del pezzo: finestra o quadro. Con una cornice bianca, l’azzurro lavanda si fonde con la parete chiara e l’ingresso sembra guadagnare un passo in larghezza: è la scelta più richiesta per corridoi e disimpegni. Con il rovere, il verde tenue si scalda e l’opera dialoga con il pavimento in legno: perfetta per una scala di casa di campagna o una camera da letto con lino e pino. Il nero è la scommessa audace: irrigidisce i contorni e trasforma la dolce pendenza in un segno grafico. Riservalo a un appartamento dalle pareti bianche con molta luce e vetro. Appendilo sulla parete stretta alla svolta delle scale, più in basso del consueto, così che il sentiero pesca ti incontri all’altezza degli occhi mentre sali. Mantieni la parete intorno libera: intonaco, non fantasia. Su carta fine art le pennellate restano morbide e la verniciatura acrilica mantiene pulite le tonalità chiare.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Il blu lavanda stonerà con una parete in crema calda?
La crema con base gialla funziona, perché il verde tenue degli alberi fa da ponte tra i due e il sentiero pesca richiama il calore. Fa più fatica con una crema che tende al rosa o all’albicocca, che raffredda il blu e lo fa sembrare grigio. Quanto deve essere grande su un pianerottolo di scala?
Scegli almeno 40 cm di larghezza per 80 cm di altezza. Più piccolo, su un pianerottolo, sembra una striscia di colore invece che una scena, e perdi la sensazione di entrare nel sentiero. A 50 x 100 cm gli alberi risultano quasi a grandezza naturale dalla scala sottostante, ed è l’effetto che cercano in molti. Misura l’altezza della parete dal gradino al soffitto e lascia un terzo libero sopra.

Funziona da solo in un corridoio stretto o ha bisogno di una coppia?
Funziona da solo. La forma alta fa lo stesso lavoro di una finestra, dando allo sguardo un punto in cui andare su una parete che non ha altre caratteristiche. Una coppia vale la pena solo in un corridoio lungo con due nicchie corrispondenti, dove i due pezzi appesi alla stessa altezza creano un ritmo. In un corridoio corto, un solo pezzo centrato tra le porte è più forte di due.
