Accanto al rovere, la figura curva perde ogni nostalgia e acquista carattere. Il fondo verde muschio smette di essere solo decorativo e diventa una vera tinta da parete: morbida, leggermente umida, viva.
Appendilo in un corridoio, nello studio o nell’angolo silenzioso della camera da letto che attraversi ogni giorno: premia lo sguardo ravvicinato più degli spazi ampi. Abbinalo a lino, rovere oliato, giunco intrecciato e a un unico dettaglio in ottone. Ciò che non vuole è un vicino lucido e ad alto contrasto: mantieni la parete circostante calma e lascia che il verde petrolio intenso dell’abito faccia il resto.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the mossy green and inky teal work against a sage-painted wall?
Yes — beautifully. The print's ground sits in the same green family as Farrow & Ball-style sages and olives, so it deepens the wall rather than clashing. The inky teal of the figure's dress provides just enough contrast to keep the piece legible. Avoid hanging it against warm terracotta or strong yellow walls, where the cool greens will look slightly off.
Is the figure male or female, and does it matter for styling?
It reads as a young figure in a long dark dress, ambiguous enough that the piece feels more about a moment — the stumble — than about portraiture. For styling, treat it as a quiet character study rather than a portrait; it doesn't need a 'matching' figure nearby and works happily alongside botanicals or landscapes.
Is this too small or too quiet to work above a sofa?
Honestly, yes — this is an intimate watercolour designed for close looking. Above a standard sofa it will read as undersized and lost in the wall. It's much happier above a console, a writing desk, in a narrow hallway, or beside a reading chair where you encounter it at one to two metres rather than across a room.
