How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the lettering actually black, or is it more of a dark grey?
It's a true deep black against a warm cream background. The contrast is high, which is what makes the joke readable from across the room. There's no softening or grey wash — it reads as bold and graphic, more like a hand-painted sign than a pencil sketch.
Will it look too big or shouty in a small downstairs loo?
Stick to the small or medium size and it sits comfortably in a tight space. The background is mostly cream, so it doesn't visually crowd a narrow wall. Hang it at eye level above the loo roll holder and it reads as a friendly note rather than a billboard.
Does it work in a bathroom with patterned tiles or wallpaper?
Only if the pattern is fairly quiet. The lettering is bold and high-contrast, so it competes with busy florals, strong geometrics, or dark patterned tiles. It's happiest against plain cream, off-white, soft stone, or a single block colour, where the joke can do the talking.
