How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the navy look heavy in a small hallway?
The cream ground takes up roughly half the print, so it doesn't read as a dark block — it reads as one strong word on a light field. In a narrow hallway it gives a focal point without closing the space in, especially if you keep the surrounding wall clear and hang it above a low piece of furniture rather than at eye level on a tall wall.
Does the texture show clearly, or does it look flat?
There's a soft worn-press texture across the letterforms and a slight grain on the cream ground, which gives it the feel of an older printed poster rather than crisp digital type. Up close you'll see the texture clearly; from across the room it reads clean and bold.
Will this work above a bed, or is it better in a study?
Both work, but for different reasons. Above a bed it acts as a calm, grown-up anchor on a neutral wall — go large, centred over the headboard. In a study it sits well behind a desk or on a feature wall. Avoid hanging it where it competes with another strong type or graphic piece nearby.
