Riguardo a quest'opera
Ottobre porta il buio già alle cinque: questo è il quadro che lo scalda. Appeso alla parete stretta in fondo alle scale, il rosso ruggine mantiene la sua intensità anche quando la luce del giorno svanisce. Sta benissimo su muri bianco gesso leggermente materici, con quell’effetto intonaco che dà carattere. Sotto, pavimento sincero: cotto oppure assi di legno a vista. Un’unica rastrelliera per gli stivali è tutto l’arredo che serve. In ottobre i cappotti sulle grucce riprendono naturalmente le stesse tonalità mattone. Conta più l’altezza della larghezza: posiziona il bordo superiore appena sopra il livello della testa e la parete sembrerà più slanciata. Nient’altro su quel tratto di muro. In primavera non avrai voglia di spostarlo. Su carta, una cornice nera sottile definisce ulteriormente le linee.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Il rosso ruggine stonerà in un corridoio dai toni caldi?

Dipende da quanto è caldo. Su crema, bianco sporco, pietra o grigio chiaro il rosso si distingue bene e la linea nera fa il resto. Su una parete già dipinta in terracotta, mattone o rosa intonaco, il corpo del toro inizia a fondersi con il colore e la forma si perde. Se il tuo ingresso è caldo, appendilo sulla parete più chiara che hai, oppure su quella che riceve meno sole diretto.

A che altezza dovrei appenderlo in una tromba delle scale?

Più in alto di quanto pensi, e poi un po’ più in basso. Su un pianerottolo, centra l’opera all’altezza degli occhi di chi è sul pianerottolo stesso, non di chi è sui gradini sotto. La forma alta si leggerà così per intero mentre sali verso di essa. Lascia almeno un metro di parete libera per lato, così le corna hanno spazio. Un solo pezzo su quella parete, niente altro.

Funziona in una cucina con mobili in legno?

Sì, purché il legno sia chiaro o di tono medio. Mobili in rovere, frassino e betulla lasciano emergere il rosso ruggine e mantengono nitida la linea nera. Il noce scuro o mobili tinti appiattiscono il contrasto e tutto diventa più spento. Mettilo sulla parete stretta in fondo a una fila di mobili, lontano dai fuochi, dove vapore e schizzi non arrivano.
