Riguardo a quest'opera
Quando arriva novembre, il corridoio perde calore. Appeso al pianerottolo, questo poster accende l’ambiente con un arancio che fa ciò che una lampada non riesce: illumina e scalda lo sguardo. Il teal profondo arretra nell’ombra, mentre la vena fusa cattura e trattiene ogni raggio residuo. Su intonaco grezzo o su pareti bianco gesso il colore sembra ancora più caldo. Mantieni il pavimento essenziale: un runner di lana scura, nessuna fantasia a distrarre. In primavera, sorprende: la luce del giorno esalta il teal e l’opera si legge come acqua più che come fuoco. In ogni caso, si guadagna il suo posto durante i mesi freddi: questa è la prova. Stampato su carta fine art e incorniciato in nero, l’arancio si fa ancora più nitido.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

L’arancione stona con una parete verde acqua o blu navy?
L’opposto. Le pareti verde acqua e blu navy riprendono il fondo del pezzo, così i bordi quasi scompaiono e resta in primo piano solo la vena arancione. Ottieni così una linea luminosa su una parete scura, non un rettangolo di colore. I contrasti arrivano con le pareti a tono medio, soprattutto grigi caldi e beige, che si scontrano con il verde acqua e allo stesso tempo spengono l’arancione.

Quanto deve essere alto per funzionare su una scala?
Punta ad almeno 80 cm di altezza, e oltre 100 cm se la parete del pianerottolo sale per un intero piano. La vena corre in diagonale, e quella linea ha bisogno di lunghezza per guidare lo sguardo verso l’alto con i gradini. Appendilo in modo che il bordo inferiore stia circa all’altezza dei fianchi rispetto al pavimento del pianerottolo, non secondo la regola dell’altezza occhi usata in soggiorno, perché lo si guarda mentre si sale.

È solo per corridoi o va bene anche in soggiorno?
Funziona in soggiorno quando c’è davvero uno spazio alto da riempire: il vuoto tra due finestre, la parete accanto a una canna fumaria o la rientranza vicino a una porta. Su una parete larga dietro al divano sembra perso. Pareti scure, pelle color cuoio e una stufa a legna gli fanno da contesto migliore, e l’arancione risulta più caldo nella luce bassa invernale.
