How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm orange clash with cool grey or blue-grey walls?
It can pull against very cool grey schemes, where the warm orange sits forwards and the wall feels colder by comparison. It works best on warm off-white, cream, soft plaster or sand-toned walls. If your walls are cool, soften the contrast with warm wood, linen or a terracotta pot nearby.
Does this work better as a solo piece or in a gallery wall?
It works really well solo — the colour and flat shapes do the heavy lifting on their own. If you want a small set, keep it as the hero and pair it with two quieter Mediterranean pieces in a similar palette: a botanical line drawing, an olive branch study or a soft architectural sketch.
What size suits a sofa or console wall?
Lean larger. The flat colour blocks and bold shapes need a bit of wall to breathe, so a large size sits best above a standard three-seater sofa or a long console. On a narrower wall between doors or windows, a medium size works, hung at eye level with at least 60cm of clear wall width.
