How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
How big does the bird actually look in the picture?
The warbler sits roughly in the middle of the plate and takes up a small portion of the composition — most of the space is given to the oak leaves, acorns and cream ground. At a medium size, the bird reads clearly from a couple of metres away but the print still feels calm rather than busy.
Will the cream background look dingy on a white wall?
The ground is a warm off-cream, not bright white, so it will read as soft and slightly aged against a crisp white wall rather than dirty. If your walls are a strong cool white, a darker frame helps draw a clean edge around the print and keeps it looking intentional.
Does it work on its own or only in a group?
It holds a wall on its own at medium size, particularly above a console or writing desk. It also groups well with two or three other Audubon plates or botanical studies for a country-study feel — pick companions with similar cream grounds and muted greens for the calmest result.
