On a north-facing afternoon, the soft pink looks almost illegally fresh. It is the sort of piece that settles a room down rather than shouting at it. The blocks are loose and hand-painted, so the whole thing reads relaxed instead of clinical. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this look washed out on a cream or off-white wall?

It holds up better than you'd expect. There's a camel block and a warm grey block doing the heavy lifting, so the piece keeps a visible edge against cream paint. If your wall is very close to the same tone, a frame in white or a slim wood tone gives it a defined border and stops it merging into the wall.

Does it work on its own or does it need a second piece?

It works well on its own and that's how we'd use it. The tones are soft enough that adding companions tends to blur everything together. If you do want a pair, hang two of the same size with a generous gap and keep the second piece equally quiet — nothing graphic, dark or heavily patterned.

What size should I go for above a standard double bed?

Medium is the sweet spot. Above a double headboard you want the piece to sit inside the width of the bed with clear wall either side, hung around 20 to 30cm above the bedhead. Too small and the low-contrast tones disappear; too large and the upright shape starts to crowd the headboard.
