Riguardo a quest'opera
Ottobre è il suo momento. Quando il giardino si fa bruno, la luce cala alle quattro e un corridoio che in giugno sembrava arioso diventa un passaggio, appendila in fondo: la terracotta fa ciò che facevano le ultime foglie là fuori. Il verde profondo evita ogni dolcezza, mentre il crema in alto solleva lo sguardo — proprio ciò che serve a un soffitto basso d’inverno. Offrile una parete semplice in bianco caldo, un tratto di parquet a vista sotto e nessuna fantasia nel raggio di un metro. Poi lasciala lì. A marzo la stessa parete apparirà fresca più che avvolgente, perché rosa e salvia si prenderanno la scena quando la luce ritorna. Su tela, la trama intrecciata esalta lo spessore del colore e non c’è vetro a riflettere la luce del corridoio.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Il terracotta starà male con un camino in mattoni rossi?
Si avvicina abbastanza al mattone da sembrare una scelta pensata, non casuale, ma appendilo su una parete a novanta gradi rispetto alla canna fumaria, non sopra. Il verde profondo e il crema danno all’occhio una pausa dal rosso e, guardando da lontano, il mattone e il terracotta si leggono come un’unica famiglia calda. Evitalo direttamente sopra un focolare in mattoni rossi, dove i due si contendono lo stesso spazio.
Quanto grande dovrei prenderlo su una parete stretta del corridoio?
Meglio più alto di quanto ti venga naturale pensare. Su una parete larga 70-90 cm, un’altezza intorno ai 100-120 cm permette alla colonna di colore di andare dall’altezza delle mani ben oltre quella degli occhi, ed è questo che fa sembrare il corridoio più alto. Più piccolo di circa 80 cm di altezza, i punti si confondono in una texture e il pezzo smette di svolgere quel ruolo. Lascia almeno 15 cm di parete libera per lato.
Di che colore dovrei dipingere la parete dietro?
Il bianco caldo è la scelta sicura e lascia che sia il terracotta a guidare la stanza. Il verde scuro è la scelta più audace, e funziona perché i punti più scuri si fondono con la parete mentre rosa, crema e terracotta emergono in primo piano. Evita il grigio freddo, che spegne il calore, e qualsiasi tono rosa o intonaco, che appiattisce la parte centrale del pezzo.
