Riguardo a quest'opera
Tela “Rising Swell, Open Water” di forte impatto visivo, pensata per diventare il fulcro del soggiorno. Il profondo teal del mare, che dall’ingresso può sembrare quasi nero, dialoga con un cielo rosa pallido che alleggerisce l’insieme prima che l’atmosfera si faccia intensa: è proprio questo passaggio il cuore dell’opera. Su una parete in intonaco grigio o bianco sporco il mare resta vivo e realistico, mentre un pavimento in rovere chiaro evita che l’ambiente sprofondi nell’oscurità. Appendila in grande, vicino al metro di larghezza, con l’orizzonte allineato allo schienale del divano. Lino nei toni avena o pietra sotto, al massimo un solo cuscino blu navy. Nient’altro su quella parete. Ogni stanza ha bisogno di un primo sguardo, e questa tela risolve la scena appena si apre la porta. Sulla tela, la pennellata emerge con matericità: nessun vetro tra te e gli spruzzi del mare.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
L’acqua scura renderà il mio soggiorno cupo?
Solo se anche la parete dietro è scura. Su una parete grigia o bianco sporco il verde petrolio intenso si legge come un ancoraggio forte, e il cielo rosa pallido in alto fa respirare l’insieme. Le stanze con molto lino color avena e legno chiaro di solito guadagnano da qualcosa di così profondo, perché tutto il resto finalmente ha un punto di contrasto.
Quanto largo dovrebbe essere sopra un letto king size?
Punta a circa due terzi della larghezza del letto, quindi all’incirca 120 cm in un king size UK standard. A quella dimensione la linea dell’orizzonte resta allineata con la testiera e la parete smette di sembrare vuota. Più piccolo, il mare sembra una cartolina appuntata sopra i cuscini, e in questo formato è la larghezza a fare il lavoro rilassante.
Il rosa nel cielo stona con una parete grigia?
No, la scalda. Il rosa è morbido e polveroso, non zuccherino, e su una parete grigio medio o greige si legge come luce del tramonto più che come colore a sé. I problemi iniziano solo con i grigi lilla freddi, che spingono il cielo verso il malva. Grigi caldi, pietra e bianco sporco gli stanno tutti bene dietro.
