Riguardo a quest'opera
Trasforma il pianerottolo da passaggio a luogo scelto. Scegli una tela alta: a un metro, i tronchi sfiorano l’altezza di una persona e la parete acquista presenza. Il verde scuro ancora lo spazio, mentre il fondo crema illumina e valorizza anche un intonaco gessoso, che smette di sembrare spoglio e diventa intenzionale. Mantieni la larghezza contenuta e l’altezza generosa: questi alberi hanno bisogno di spazio per stare in piedi. Sotto, basta un gradino in rovere naturale o un semplice corridore in lana. Sotto i 70 cm è un’immagine di alberi; sopra, è il motivo per cui quella parete esiste. Sulla tela le pennellate tra i rami si percepiscono chiaramente, senza vetro che rifletta la luce del pianerottolo.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Il verde scuro rischia di appesantire un corridoio stretto?
Solo se il corridoio non ha una luce propria. Il fondo crema occupa quasi metà dell’immagine, quindi su una parete bianca o bianco sporco gli alberi si leggono come una forma e non come un blocco. In un corridoio buio, una sola luce calda da parete o una lampada su un tavolino vicino basta a far tornare vivo il verde. Evitalo se la parete è già di un colore scuro.
Quanto in alto dovrei andare per un pianerottolo di scale?
Più alta di quanto pensi. Le proporzioni sono una parte larga due parti alte, quindi un pezzo largo 50 cm è alto un metro, e si adatta bene alla maggior parte dei pianerottoli con soffitti di 2,4 metri o più. Punta a far sì che il bordo inferiore stia più o meno all’altezza del corrimano quando arrivi sul pianerottolo, e lascia libera il resto della parete.
Si legge come un soggetto natalizio?
Si legge come inverno, non come Natale. Non ci sono rosso, decorazioni né un albero illuminato, solo pini scuri e una fascia di neve. La maggior parte delle persone lo appende in ottobre e lo tiene fino alla primavera senza che sembri fuori stagione. Se a dicembre vuoi un richiamo festivo, aggiungi una ghirlanda altrove nella stanza, non vicino al quadro.
