Riguardo a quest'opera
Dodici fasce corpose di colore si sovrappongono come una colonna di mattoni vissuti, creando un astratto verticale ricco di materia. Crema, bianco gesso, blu ardesia e marrone cioccolato si alternano lungo l’altezza, ciascuna delimitata da un segno scuro su un fondo azzurro chiarissimo. Le creste e i passaggi di spatola si percepiscono nitidamente anche da lontano, dall’altra parte del corridoio. La palette dialoga con noce, bouclé crema, lino e ottone satinato; le fasce marroni riprendono con eleganza una poltrona in pelle scura o una credenza in teak. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Quale formato funziona meglio per questo astratto verticale?
Meglio grande, se la parete lo consente. L’opera si basa sui rilievi e sui segni di spatola in ogni banda, e si leggono al meglio quando le bande sono abbastanza ampie da essere viste da qualche passo di distanza. Su un pianerottolo o in fondo a un corridoio, una misura grande riempie bene l’altezza della parete, mentre una più piccola è adatta a uno spazio stretto tra due finestre.
Quali colori porta in una stanza?
Soprattutto azzurro cielo pallido e crema, con bande di blu ardesia e marrone cioccolato intenso per dare peso e sottili linee quasi nere tra una banda e l’altra. Sta bene in ambienti con pareti bianche, crema o grigio tenue, mobili in legno scuro e tessuti blu. Su colori caldi e vivaci come arancione o senape rischia di apparire piatto, quindi meglio tenere la palette circostante fresca e attenuata.
Può stare in camera da letto oltre che in corridoio?
Sì. I blu e i crema, tranquilli, lo rendono abbastanza rilassante per una camera da letto, dove funziona sulla parete stretta accanto a un armadio o tra due finestre piuttosto che sopra il letto. La cosa principale da considerare è il suo formato alto: vuole uno spazio verticale stretto, non largo, quindi misura l’altezza della parete prima di scegliere la misura.
