Riguardo a quest'opera
Ottobre è il mese in cui la cucina dà il meglio. Il forno lavora ogni pomeriggio, il tavolo si infarina e le pareti sembrano spoglie rispetto a tutto quel fermento. Appendi questa tela sopra il tavolo della colazione: il rosso ciliegia raccoglie ogni nota calda della stanza, dal piano in pino alla riga sul canovaccio. Il salvia sullo sfondo addolcisce il tono delle piastrelle color crema. Ama la compagnia: una ciotola di mele sul piano, una brocca blu, nient’altro su quella parete. In sala da pranzo funziona allo stesso modo in formato più contenuto, appesa poco sopra la credenza dove sta la caffettiera a stantuffo. Concedile almeno 50 cm per lato: più piccola e la fetta diventa educata, e l’effetto non è quello. Su tela la pennellata si legge anche da lontano, senza vetro che rifletta la luce della cucina.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Il rosso stonerà con i colori della mia cucina?

Molto meno di quanto pensi. Il rosso occupa meno di un terzo dell’immagine, e il salvia morbido intorno lo bilancia. Con mobili crema, salvia, navy o grigio chiaro si legge come l’unico accento caldo della stanza. L’unico schema in cui fatica è una cucina già rossa, dove smette di essere un accento e diventa più dello stesso.

Che dimensione dovrei appendere sopra il tavolo della cucina?

Per un tavolo da due a quattro posti, punta a 50 o 60 cm di lato e appendilo con il centro a circa 145 cm da terra, un po’ più in basso se le persone lo guardano soprattutto da sedute. Sopra un bancone, 40 o 50 cm bastano perché lo vedi più da vicino. Sotto i 40 cm la pennellata si ammorbidisce e il pezzo inizia a sembrare una cartolina.

Funziona anche in altre stanze oltre alla cucina?

Sì, purché abbia senso con il cibo. Una credenza in sala da pranzo è la seconda casa più ovvia, e un piccolo angolo studio dove si beve il caffè è sorprendentemente adatto. Sta bene anche sulla parete vicino a una porta sul retro che dà sul giardino, dove il salvia riprende il verde esterno. Soggiorno e camera da letto tendono invece a farlo sembrare fuori posto.
