    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will this look too empty on a big wall?

    It reads as considered rather than empty when you give it room. On a wide wall, size up to a medium or large piece and keep at least 40-50cm of clear space around it. The cream ground is doing real work — it lets the navy marks feel deliberate rather than lost.

    Does the navy read as blue or almost black?

    In daylight the brushstrokes read as a deep, slightly warm navy. Under warmer evening lighting they can look closer to very dark ink. Either way, they sit comfortably alongside black metal fittings, dark oak and charcoal textiles without clashing.

    Will it work in a room that isn't minimalist?

    Yes, as long as the wall around it stays fairly calm. It can act as a quiet counterweight in a more layered room — for example above a linen sofa with textured cushions — but avoid hanging it right next to busy florals or bright posters, which will fight the negative space.
