    No, the dark green doesn't soften the room. It defines it. Every line of this dinosaur is drawn like an old natural history plate, and the flat olive panel behind it pushes the whole thing forward. Hang it on a study wall, above a desk, or in a hallway where people pass close enough to notice the linework. It sits happily with dark stained wood, aged leather, wool and stoneware, and it holds its own on a clay or olive painted wall. Don't crowd it with busy pattern or bright primary-coloured accessories — the detail needs a bit of quiet either side. Printed on premium fine-art paper, with the option of a real wood frame.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the fine linework still look sharp in a smaller size?

    At small sizes the hatching starts to merge into solid green from across the room. A medium size is the sweet spot: the crest, claws and scaled skin stay readable from a metre or two away, which is roughly how close people stand in a study or hallway. If you only have a narrow wall, go medium and hang it at eye level.

    Is this too dark for a child's bedroom?

    It reads as earthy rather than gloomy. The cream border keeps the whole thing light around the edges, and the olive background is muted rather than heavy. On a warm off-white or pale clay wall it feels like a museum plate on the wall, not a shadowy piece. Bright bedding and a light rug lift it further.

    Does it need another print next to it, or does it work alone?

    It works alone very happily — the single upright figure gives you one clear focal point on a plain wall. If you do want company, keep it to two or three quieter pieces in the same greens and creams, such as botanical or other animal studies, and let this one sit centre as the biggest in the group.
