    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will this feel too stark on a white wall?

    On a bright white wall the ink reads as a strong, considered mark rather than stark. If you want it softer, hang it on a chalky off-white or warm grey wall, or choose an oak frame instead of black. Leave plenty of empty wall on all four sides so the white space around the stem is part of the composition.

    Does it work as a pair or should I hang it alone?

    Both work. Solo above a headboard or console gives the brushwork room to breathe. As a pair, hang it beside another quiet ink or line-drawn botanical of similar scale, with a hand's width between them. Avoid mixing it with busy colourful prints — the contrast will fight the loose brushwork.

    Is there any colour in the print, or is it purely black and white?

    It is purely black, soft grey and white — no hidden colour tint. That makes it easy to place in rooms with any accent colour, from warm terracotta to deep green, without clashing. If you specifically want a warmer or softer feel on the wall, an oak or warm brown frame will take the edge off the contrast.
