Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes, as long as you go medium rather than small. The dark flower centre and the stem carry the shape from a few metres away, while the fine outer petals soften. At small sizes the washed-out tips start to disappear, so a medium square on a clear wall gives you the best balance of detail and presence.

It sits warmer than a bright white wall, so you will see a gentle difference at the edges. That is usually fine and often looks intentional. On chalky off-white, clay, oat or soft grey-beige walls it blends more closely. If your walls are cool brilliant white, a frame gives it a clean border and stops the tone comparison.

It is a seal mark, the traditional stamp used to sign East Asian brush paintings. It is part of the artwork rather than a print flaw, and it gives the piece one small warm accent. Handy if you want a single colour cue to echo elsewhere in the room, such as a terracotta pot or a rust cushion.
