    About this card

The front of this card shows a forest at night, framed by a pointed gold arch. A large gold crescent moon hangs in a navy watercolour sky scattered with stars. Tall trees drawn in fine gold lines rise on either side, with dark pines and ferns filling the ground below. Gold leaves and berries curl around the corners of the border. Beneath the picture, poster-style text reads William Morris, Studies in Botanical Ornament.

It suits a birthday for a friend or your mum who loves pattern and old houses. It also works as a thank you, or as a quiet card of sympathy, because the scene is calm rather than cheerful. The inside is blank, so you choose the words.

The design is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement rather than copied from a Morris pattern, so it feels familiar without being something you have seen on every shop shelf. It is printed in the UK and comes with an envelope.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is this a real William Morris design?

No. It is a new design inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement. The front carries his name as a poster-style caption, but the artwork is not one of his patterns.

    Is the card blank inside?

Yes. The inside is left blank so you can write your own message. An envelope is included.

Can I buy more than one?

Yes. The card is sold singly and in packs of 10, 20, 50 and 100. Each card comes with an envelope.
