How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the film title or any text shown on the print?
No. There's no title, no credits and no logos. The figure is reduced to a silhouette with a tan jacket and grey boombox, plus a hint of red on the t-shirt. The reference is there if you know it, and it reads as a clean graphic illustration if you don't.
Will it look out of place in a more grown-up living room?
Not really. The palette is soft — cream, tan, grey — and the composition is minimal, so it reads as a graphic illustration rather than a movie poster. Frame it in black or oak and it sits comfortably next to mid-century furniture, leather and books.
Does it work on its own or does it need other prints around it?
It holds a wall on its own at medium size, especially above a desk, sofa or media unit. If you want to pair it, keep companions quiet — small typographic prints or simple line illustrations — so the figure stays the focal point.
