How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft olive green clash with sage or pale green cabinets?
It works with both, as long as the cabinet green is warm rather than minty. The stripes lean warm and a little dusty, so they sit happily next to sage, soft khaki or warm cream paintwork. If your cabinets are cool blue-green or mint, hang it on a cream or off-white wall a step away from them instead.
Is this big enough to hang above a kitchen worktop on its own?
A medium size holds the wall on its own above a standard worktop or small console. If your wall is wider than about a metre, either go up to the large size or hang two herb studies side by side as a small pair — the format is built for that kind of grouping.
Does the striped background make it feel too busy in a small kitchen?
The stripes are soft and hand-painted in feel, not sharp graphic lines, so they read calm rather than busy. In a small kitchen, hang it against a plain cream or sage wall with a little breathing room around it, and keep nearby shelves uncluttered so the herb stays the focus.
