How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the near-black background look too heavy on a dark wall?
It actually works well. The near-black ground reads as a soft frame rather than a block, and the bright pink, coral and mustard lift off a deep painted wall. If your wall is very dark, a black frame keeps the edges clean; on a mid-tone wall, an unframed print or float-framed canvas keeps it feeling open.
Is this too busy to hang above a patterned sofa or rug?
Possibly. The piece is dense and self-contained, so it sits best above one strong texture rather than two competing patterns. If your sofa or rug is heavily patterned, hang it on a plainer wall nearby — a hallway, entryway or bedroom — and let one pattern lead at a time.
What size should I choose for a hallway wall?
Go large if the wall allows. The horse and the floral border carry detail that gets lost at smaller sizes, and a hallway benefits from a tall, anchoring piece. Aim for a wall at least 80cm wide and hang slightly above eye level to draw the eye down the corridor.
