How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the orange feel too strong in a small room?
It can if every other surface is busy. In a small room, give it a calm wall — warm off-white or pale clay — and keep nearby textiles in oat, cream or soft teal. A single warm lamp helps the orange feel rich rather than loud, especially in the evening.
Does it suit a grown-up room or only a kids' room?
Both. The symmetry and folk pattern feel graphic rather than childish, so it works above a sofa, console or creative desk just as well as in a kids' room. Pair it with rattan, painted wood and linen to keep the mood relaxed rather than nursery-bright.
What's the koinobori reference about?
Koinobori are the carp-shaped windsocks flown in Japan for Children's Day, with scaled patterns and bright colour. The twin owls borrow that scaled coat and mirrored shape, so the print nods to that tradition without being a literal copy — useful context if you're styling around a Japanese-leaning room.
