How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the terracotta and mustard work in a room with cool grey walls?
It can, but it's not the easiest match. The warm terracotta, mustard and olive want a warmer backdrop — cream, chalky off-white or soft clay walls. On cool grey, the piece will still read, but it can feel as if it's fighting the room rather than settling into it. If your walls are firmly blue-grey, consider a warmer print instead.
Is this too bold for a calm bedroom?
It's lively but not loud. The palette is muted and earthy rather than bright, and the dusty blue centre gives the eye somewhere to rest. Hung above a bed or a low dresser, with linen bedding and warm wood nearby, it adds a sense of movement without tipping the room out of calm. Quiet bedding helps.
Does it work on its own or do I need to pair it?
It works very well solo as a single hero above a sofa, bed or console. If you'd rather build a small cluster, keep companions quieter — a loose botanical line drawing or a soft earthy abstract in the same terracotta, olive and cream family. Avoid pairing it with another busy figurative piece.
