How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the off-white background a true white or warmer?
It reads as a soft off-white rather than a stark bright white, with a slight warmth to it. That softness is what stops the strong black ink feeling clinical, and it sits well next to oak, linen and other natural materials rather than fighting them.
Will it feel too busy on a small wall?
No — although there are four figures, they're grouped tightly and there's a lot of breathing room around them. On a small wall it actually reads quite calm, with the slope and figures held in the lower two-thirds. A medium size on a narrow hallway or above a console works nicely.
Does it suit a room with lots of colour already?
Yes. Pure black-and-white tends to act as a neutral around colour, so it slots in alongside green walls, mustard sofas or deep red rugs without clashing. It does best with one strong colour rather than several competing patterns nearby.
