How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the background green dark enough to feel heavy in a small room?
No. The green sits in the mid-range — closer to sage than forest — and is softened by the cream butterfly and pale flowers at the centre. In a smaller bedroom or study, it reads as a calming backdrop rather than a dark panel, especially against off-white or soft sage walls.
Does the pattern read as busy from across the room?
From a couple of metres away the symmetry takes over and the pale butterfly becomes the clear focal point. Up close you see the detail of the leaves and wild roses; from across the room it reads as one calm, balanced panel rather than a busy repeat.
Will the cream background look yellow next to bright white bedding or walls?
The background is a warm off-white, so it will sit comfortably next to cream or oat linen but can look slightly creamy against a very crisp brilliant white. If your bedding and walls are pure white, an oak or warm wood frame helps tie it together.
