    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Quanto piccolo posso andare con questo soggetto?
    Più piccolo di quanto pensi. Il soggetto sta da solo su un fondo chiaro, quindi un quadrato da 30 cm si legge ancora chiaramente da un corridoio, e antenne e zampe reggono bene quando ti avvicini.     Il fondo bianco sporco sembrerà sporco contro una parete bianca?
    Contro un bianco brillante può leggere leggermente giallo, cosa che ad alcuni piace e ad altri no. Su una parete bianco sporco gessoso, pietra o verde pallido il fondo quasi scompare e la farfalla sembra fissata all’intonaco, che è l’effetto migliore. Su una parete verde scuro o blu navy il quadrato chiaro diventa una macchia luminosa, quindi lasciale un po’ di spazio attorno.

    Funziona in coppia o ha bisogno di un set?
    Entrambe le cose. Da solo si adatta bene a un angolo scrivania o a una parete stretta dove basta un piccolo elemento. In coppia, appendi due studi di van Kessel uno accanto all’altro alla stessa altezza con una larghezza di mano tra loro. Per una griglia, quattro o sei pezzi tutti della stessa misura con spazi uniformi funzionano bene, mentre i numeri dispari tendono a sembrare incompleti con questo tipo di studio.
