How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft cream background look washed out against a white wall?
It holds up fine against most off-whites and warm whites — the cream is just warm enough to separate from the paint. Against a very cool, bright white wall it can read a bit muted, in which case an oak or brown frame gives it a touch more grounding.
Are the two birds the same species?
They look like a pair of small tits — similar size, dark caps, pale underparts. They're painted as a quiet pair rather than a precise field study, so don't expect taxonomic accuracy. The effect is companionable rather than scientific.
Does it work above a bed, or is it too detailed at that scale?
It works above a single or double bed at a medium size, especially in a calm room. Above a king or super-king, you may want to size up or hang it as part of a pair so it doesn't look lost against the wider headboard.
