How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the sage background look grey on a cream wall?
The background is a soft green with a touch of grey, so it reads as gentle sage rather than green-grey. Against cream or off-white walls it warms up and the leaf greens sit forward. On stark cool-white walls it can look a shade more muted, which still works but is less flattering.
Will the pattern feel too busy above a bed?
The leaves are densely drawn but the colours are soft and close in tone, so it reads as texture rather than noise. Above a bed it acts as a calm headboard accent. If you want even more quiet, choose the medium size rather than large and leave space around it.
Does it work with pink or only with green and cream?
It takes dusty pink and blush very happily — a single cushion, throw or ceramic in that range lifts the greens without fighting them. Avoid hot or coral pinks, which clash with the muted sage. Mustard and warm brown also work as accents.
