How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this overwhelm a small living room?
It can — the mosaic pattern is dense and the colour is high-warmth. In a small room, scale down to the small or medium tier and keep the surrounding walls and textiles quiet. If your room already runs busy with rugs and cushions in pattern, this piece will fight them rather than partner with them.
Does the dark brown read as black on the wall?
Close to it. The vertical trunks are a very deep inky brown that reads almost black from a few metres away, which is what gives the piece its graphic backbone. If your room leans warm-neutral with walnut and brass, this anchors beautifully; against cool greys, the brown can feel slightly orphaned.
Is the square format awkward above a wide sofa?
Only if you hang it solo and undersized. Above a wide sofa, go to the large or statement tier so the square reads as a deliberate anchor rather than a small note floating in space. Alternatively, flank it with two tall slim plants or sconces to extend the visual width.
