How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the background actually white or is it cream?
It's a soft off-white with a faint warm tint, not a stark bright white. It reads clean against off-white and cream walls, and sits nicely with pale oak and linen. Against a very cool grey wall the warmth will show more, which can be a feature or a clash depending on the rest of the room.
Will the pink read too feminine for a shared room?
The pinks here are warm and dusty rather than candy or bubblegum, and they sit alongside deep red, coral and warm cream — so it reads more 'natural history' than 'pretty in pink'. In a study or kitchen with oak, linen and brass, it lands as a botanical chart first and a pink print second.
Can I read the individual mushrooms or is it just a pattern?
Each mushroom is drawn separately with its own cap, stem and gills, in the style of a vintage chart — so up close you can pick out individual species shapes. From across the room it reads as one busy, warm-toned composition rather than a clean pattern.
