How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this feel too childish for a living room?
It depends on the room. The folk style is playful but not babyish, so it works in a relaxed bohemian living room with houseplants, rattan and warm woods. In a very formal or minimal living room it will feel out of place — it's happiest in spaces that already lean colourful and casual.
What colour walls work best behind it?
Warm cream, chalky off-white and soft pale pink all let the pink and blue sing. A muted sage or warm beige also works. Avoid hanging it on a strong patterned wallpaper or a dark moody wall — the busy stripes and leaves need a calmer backdrop to read clearly.
Will the bright blue feel cold in a warm room?
No — the blue is balanced by the soft pink cats, warm cream background and small orange details, so it reads as cheerful rather than icy. It sits comfortably with terracotta pots, warm woods and linen, and won't drag a warm room cool.
