How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is this clearly a sphynx cat, or does it read as just any cat?
It reads clearly as a sphynx — the large pointed ears, slim profile, fine wrinkling at the shoulder and the lack of fur are all visible. It's stylised and painterly rather than photo-real, so the breed cues come through shape and posture more than fine detail.
Will the soft sage and cream tones look washed out on a white wall?
On a bright white wall the palette stays soft but still holds its own thanks to the warm brown shadows on the cat. If you want more presence, hang it on a chalky off-white, oat or soft sage painted wall — the colours lift and the portrait feels more anchored.
Does it work in a room that isn't very neutral?
It works best in calm, soft palettes — pale woods, linen, stoneware, off-white and sage. In rooms built around deep reds, navy or heavy pattern, the muted sage and cream will feel quiet to the point of disappearing. Better suited to organic-modern, Japandi and Scandinavian rooms.
