How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the red feel too loud in a small kitchen?
The cream background does a lot of the work here — the red sits inside a generous border of warm off-white rather than filling the whole frame. In a small kitchen it reads as one confident accent, not a wall of red. The trick is to keep everything else around it calm: plain ceramics, neutral tea towels, no other red prints nearby.
Does the POMODORO type read clearly from across the room?
Yes. The lettering is thick, blocky and set in the same deep red as the tomatoes, running along the full bottom of the print. From across a kitchen or dining room it reads as one strong horizontal band of colour and the word stays legible at normal viewing distance.
Is this better above a worktop or behind a dining table?
Both work. Above a worktop in a portrait orientation it slots neatly between open shelves or above a toaster at eye level. Behind a dining table it acts as a single anchor on a plain wall. Avoid hanging it directly beside a hob where steam and splatter could reach the frame.
